Tuesday, July 26th. Another unique day for me when it dealt with the type of event and the players we were evaluating on this day. This group of individuals was younger as a whole than most groups we deal with. Each player had recently completed their freshman year of high school and will not be graduating until the spring of 2019. This was a good chance for us to work hands on with the players and see a group of very talented players, which was supposed to be considered the best of their class at this age. My main duty for the day was to provide social media updates for the college coaches in attendance, but also interact with the players first hand. A lot of these athletes were attending a showcase for the first time ever in their playing career so it was up to myself to help familarize them with the workout and help them to relax. It can be very nerve wrecking the first time working out in front of a crowd full of coaches. Overall it was a very good day with an abundance of young talent.
