June 6th, The first day of our biggest event in the state of Ohio. The Top Prospect Games is the most attractive event to players and scouts in Ohio when it comes to high school baseball and this year was no disappointment and a lot of hard work. On Monday I arrived to work at 7 a.m. to begin preparation for the day's work and the nearly 80 players that we were going to be evaluating that day. My day was filled with keeping all of the social media up to speed throughout the day's event as many of the college coaches and professional scouts. Over 50 scouts from colleges at all levels were in attendance to watch the talent on display. Throughout the day I was also asked to record player statistics and help with the video that will be put on their online profiles. The day consisted of position players running the 60 yard dash along with an offensive and defensive evaluation. Pitchers were giving a chance to throw 1 or 2 innings in a live scrimmage. At the end of the day session number 2 ended at around 10:30 that evening as we preceded to the hotel to get some rest and get ready for Day 2 bright and early.
