Monday, June 13th, Day 1 and Wednesday, June 15th, were the days of our Underclassmen Games event of the summer. This event was held at The Ohio State University at the beautiful Bill Davis Stadium. The players featured during this two day event were all younger high school players and even some athletes that had just recently completed the 8th grade. It was a very unique event in which we were able to evaluate some very talented players that were only 14 years old. It is interesting and hard to predict how these ballplayers will turn out and develop since they are attending an event at such a young age. My main responsibility for the two day event included managing and monitoring the Twitter feed along with completing pitcher evaluations. We evaluate pitchers on their build, pitchability, and many other aspects of their game. The event ran smoothly over the duration. Over the event we saw more than 150 players that completed a workout, along with playing in a scrimmage.
